Abstract

Drawing on her personal experience as an autistic scientist–practitioner, Eloise Stark explores how we can empower neurodivergent populations in academia.

The disability employment gap is highly complex, and it would be foolish to attempt to suggest how to fix it.

Instead, I hope to incite curiosity in those working within academia as to how they might become aware of the challenges for autistic colleagues, and how to show compassionate engagement.
